Located in the beautiful, and agriculturally abundant Rogue Valley of southwest Oregon, The Farm Bus Bistro is “on the road” to help eaters of all ages learn to love real food, gain valuable lifelong skills, build confidence in the kitchen, and grow their inspiration for “green eating!”

Hi! I’m Michelle…

Having worked as an organic farmer, as well as a teacher, The Farm Bus Bistro is a fun collaboration of my passions!  As a graduate student at Portland State University (2007-08) I designed and led educational programming for K-8th grade students at Jean's Urban Forest Farm - planting, harvesting, and cooking with students. Ever since, I have known that it was my calling to share my love of growing, cooking and eating good food.

Since moving back home to the Rogue Valley, I have been fortunate to work with the Medford Montessori School (where I grew up & began my journey of lifelong learning), as well as The Valley School of Southern Oregon. With each of these schools, my focus has been on providing a unique Culinary Arts program which provides students with the opportunity to discover the joy and benefits that come from working together with their peers to create and serve a delicious and nourishing lunch to their school community.

It is my aim to utilize The Farm Bus Bistro to continue building on these programs, and inspire & empower students of all ages to connect with, and enjoy, the incredible, delicious abundance we are surrounded by!
